If you like your nature walks with a side of culture, then take a stroll through The Company’s Garden in Cape Town’s city centre, adjacent to the South African Parliament. First started by the Dutch East India Company in 1652 as a way of providing their ships with food, today the Company’s Garden is a large sprawling public park and botanical garden. Found within walking distance of the comany gardens are the The Iziko South African Museum, The Iziko South African National Gallery and the The Planetarium and Digital Dome.
