Camps Bay Beach

Camps-Bay-Beach.jpg

Camps Bay is a very popular tourist spot. It’s along the Atlantic side so the water is pretty cold but worth it on the hot days. There is also a tidal pool at this beach which is great for the little ones. You can also walk across the road to the Camps Bay Promenade with lots of restaurants and shops.

Clifton Beaches (First, Second, Third and Fourth)

These beaches are the “place to be seen” in Cape Town. Used for many photoshoots, these stunning beaches are a must-visit. The water is quite cold here again and these beaches are only accessible by steep stairs from the road. Parking can also be a bit tricky.

Noordhoek Beach / Long Beach

Noordhoek Beach.jpg

Possibly Cape Town’s longest beach. If you’re looking for that feeling of being alone at the beach, this is where you should go. It is also very popular for horse riders and there is a shipwreck you can walk to.

Boulders Beach

Ask any Capetonian what Boulders Beach is famous for, and they’ll immediately reply, “Penguins!” It is quite an experience visiting this beach with its feathered residents but definitely something that you have to do when you come to Cape Town. Just remember, they are wild animals so don’t try to touch or feed them.
