Instructional Guide - Placing Provisional Reservations in Nitro
Introduction
Agents are now able to put provisional bookings directly into our calendar. This user-friendly guide will walk you through the steps, ensuring you can efficiently secure your desired spot.

- Please be courteous and limit the number of bookings put in the system, as it blocks our calendar and prevents us from taking bookings.
- You may place up to two provisional bookings per reservation enquiry or quote.
- Provisional reservations will be removed automatically after 72 hours if we do not receive feedback from you, but if you do not want to go ahead, please notify us ASAP.
- The ability to make provisional reservations will be removed from anyone found to be abusing the system.

Step 1: Accessing Nitro
- Log in to your Nitro account.
- Navigate to the 'Enquiries' section to begin processing a quote.
Step 2: Initiating a Provisional Reservation
- Begin a “New Quote” and fill in the relevant enquiry information.
- Choose the listings you’d like to offer or provisionally hold and “Create email”
- Within the generated quote details, find the option to place a provisional reservation in the last column, indicated by a tick-box.
Step 3: Completing the Provisional Reservation
- Click on the designated checkbox of the listing you wish to hold to initiate the provisional reservation process (limited to 2 per booking enquiry)
- Click “Preview”.
- Fill in your first and last name (not the guests) when you see the pop-up box.
- Confirm the provisional reservation.
